So what's the answer? I don't have time to take to the streets, much as it seems necessary. Maybe we should go the commune route, a group of family and friends who buy a large piece of property and build their homes together and help support one another in tough times, all working for the common good of the group. Maybe those hippies were on to something but no one wanted to get a real job and make it happen. Think about it. If you got say five or six families together, pooled your resources, bought 50 acres somewhere, and built your homes along with some sort of communal lodge and dining area. Everyone contributes toward the mortgage and the expenses as best they can providing no one shirks their responsibilities, it works great. Oh, we’d need a moat and gun towers also. Good piece.
